The Metropolitan of Demetrias Ignatios took part to the Holy Liturgy during Thursday 6th January 2000, day of the Holy Epiphany, in the Diocese Cathedral St Nikolaos.
Later on, he performed the service of the Holy Cross diving to Volos sea port, with the attendance of representatives of the authorities, army and many people.
On Friday 7th January he attended and took part to the Holy Liturgy in the festal St Ioannis Prodrommos in Agia.
