The "Social Pharmacy" was established on March of 2012, under the guidance of the Metropolitan of the Demetrias Diocese  and the Pharmaceutical Association of Volos. The center is in the Spiritual Center of the Diocese (K. Kartali - Anth. Gazi), with aim to freely provide of pharmaceutical products to people who are not able to afford it, and also to recycle expired drugs.

The "Social Pharmacy" functions every Wednesday 5-8 p.m. in the Spiritual Center of the Diocese (K. Kartali - Anth. Gazi, tel: +30 24210 28833).
