An open event for the paretns of children who attend to the Sunday school of the local church was organised on Sunday 26/1/2014 to the Conference Center of the Diocese, from 10.30a.m. - 1.30p.m. The metropolitan wrote a letter for the parents. (Only in Greek ).

Event for the Sunday school of the Metamorphosis of the Savior church ending of the school year 2012-2013

For the ending of the school year 2012-2013 the Sunday school of the Metamorphosis of the Savior church of Volos organised a one day excursion in Efksinoupoli. In the church of the Virgin Mary in Efksinoupoli, fr Georgios Mpekas spoke to the children about the history of the place. Afterwards the children played in the forest of Kouri, under the guidance of the responsible fr Theodoros Printzos, who wished to the children for a happy summer.

The events for the Sunday school year ending took place on Sunday 19/5/2013 in the very beautiful park of the Saint Konstantinos church, by the seaside of Volos city. The events were blessed by the Metropolitan Ignatios. The events were organised by the Youth Office, and were presented by the catechists Panagiotis Spanos and Filoktimon Stamopoulos-Samaras. In Almiros city, the events took place on Saturday 18/5/2013 in the forest Kouri. ...

The theatrical team of the Holy Diocese of Demetrias organised and presented on Saturday 15th December 2012, in the Spiritual Center of the Diocese the play of Dr Stelios Pelasgos with title: "Of the few my brothers...". The show was accompanied by traditional songs. Responsible for the music direction was Mrs Marianna Samartzi. The theatrical team is apparted by 35 chidren of the parishes and Sunday schools of Volos city.

The Conference for the beginning of the new hierapostolical year 2012-2013 took part on Saturday 22/9/2012, in the Conference Center of Thessaly.
