For the ending of the school year 2012-2013 the Sunday school of the Metamorphosis of the Savior church of Volos organised a one day excursion in Efksinoupoli. In the church of the Virgin Mary in Efksinoupoli, fr Georgios Mpekas spoke to the children about the history of the place. Afterwards the children played in the forest of Kouri, under the guidance of the responsible fr Theodoros Printzos, who wished to the children for a happy summer.
