The Birth of the Holy Virgin Mary honours our Church on Sunday 8/9. In the Holy Diocese of Demetrias the following churches celebrate:

A. Chapel of the Birth of Theotokos in Goritsa mountain

B. Church of Theotokos Birth in Lafko village of mountain Pelion

C. Birth of Theotokos Church in Fitoko village

D. Holy Monastery in Saint Vlasios of mountain Pelion
