Invited by the Metropolitan of Demetrias Ignatios, fr Efraim from the Holy Monastery of Vatopedi, Mt Athos, came to our Diocede for three days. On Wednesday 18/2 he took part to the holy Liturgy in the Monastery of the Holy Archangels in Pelion, where he spoke and blessed the people.

On Thursday 19/2 he took part to the Holy Liturgy of the Metropolis Cathedral St Nikolaos, where he spoke about the holy days that we are about to pass, preparing ourselves for the Holy Easter. After thanking for the invitation, he offered a copy of the Holy Icon of Panaghia Vimatarisa, one of the seven miraculus icon kept to the Holy Monastery of Vatopedi.
