Our Metropolis celebrated with great joy the great feasts of the Annunciation of our Virgin Mary and the 1821 Greeks Revolution against the Turk's tyrrany. The Metropolitan of Demetrias Ignatios took part in the celebrating Holy Liturgy of the Theotokos Annunciation overcrowded church in N.Ionia of Volos.
