Ordination of the Metropolis' archdeacon to archimandrite

Our brothers and sisters of the Metropolis of Demetrias felt very emotive moments in the ordination of fr Kallinikos, the archdeacon of our Metropolitan Ignatios for the past 7 years. This top step in fr Kallinikos' life took place in the church of Christ's Assumption, Volos, on Sunday 27/12/2015. Very touching and tearful words were heard from fr Kallinikos' speech, but also from the Metropolitan Ignatios.
The new archimandrite will serve in the church of Saints Konstantinos and Helen.
