On Wednesday 17/2 and Thursday 18/2, His Eminence Metropolitan of Demetrias Mr. Ignatius serviced liturgies for the students of Almyros and Velestino High schools in the Church of Panagia Evaggelistria in Almyros and in the Church of St. Constantine on Velestino correspondingly.

        Mr. Ignatius' both Divine Liturgies were preachy and exemplary. In the first liturgy, arch. Georgios Giannios while the teacher of Theology Mr. Sotirios Tsitsirigas in the second, analyzed the basic points of Divine Liturgy and of the Mystery of Eucharist. In the end of each Liturgy Mr. Ignatius along with the holy bread, he gave all students the New Testament.

The initiative of preachy-exemplary Divine Liturgy is embraced by the students and the teachers as well. Thus, the past two years, His Eminence positively responds to the relevant invitations, offering the students the chance to acquaint the insurmountable liturgy wealth of our Church.
