1500 citizens of Magnesia enjoyed a cruise in the waters of the Pagasetic gulf, in the framework of the "Navy Week in Volos 2016", organized by the cultural association of the Holy Diocese of Demetrias "Magniton Kivotos", in collaboration with many institutions of our city.

On Thursday 4/6 in the evening, the "Skiathos Express" of Hellenic Seaways, with Mr. Athanasios Kompogiannis, as a captain, welcomed all those who responded to the invitation of "Magniton Kivotos", in order to enjoy a special evening. Among the passengers were His Eminence Metropolitan Ignatius of Demetrias, the commodore of the Port Police Corps Mr. Konstantinos Demertzis, the governor of the 4th Regional Administration of the Port Police Corps, the harbor master of the Port Police Corps Mr. Emmanouil Kanalis and Mr. Thrasivoulos Stavridopoulos, chairman of the Volos Port Authority, who contributed to realizing the cruise.

During the cruise to the Pagasetic gulf, Zoi Tzalavreta, Zafiris Koukouselis, Nikos Alexiou and Dimitris Befanis, recreated the passengers, with songs related to the sea. 

Earlier at the Exhibition ground of the Volos Port Authority, the Fair "Navy Tradition in the Aegean Sea-Tarsanades and Skaria" was inaugurated, which will be open to the public until 12/6, from 9.00 to 13.00 and from 18.00 to 21.00.
