The feast of the Metamorphosis of the Saviour was celebrated with greatness in our Holy Diocese. At the Holy Vespels the Metropolitan of Demetrias Ignatios took part, where he also made the holy speech. Many representatives of the local authorities also attended.

During the same day of the feast, at the Holy Liturgy, the Metropolitans of Silivria Maximos and Ignatios of Demetrias took part. At the ending of the Holy Liturgy, the Metropolitan Ignatios thanked the Metropolitan Maximos for his visit. The Metropolitan Maximos also spoke with kindness for our Diocese, transferred the blessings of the Patriarch and talked about the miscellaneous actions taken by our Metropolis for many situations.
