The Greek Nation celebrates the great Memory of "NO", on October 28th. Greece denied to compromise with the enemies forces during 1940. The celebrations contain the Holy Liturgy in the Cathedral of Volos Saint Nikolaos, in which our Metropolitan shall take part, and many representatives of the local authorities shall attend. After the liturgy, the Holy Doxology is programmed. Praying for our heroes who dedicated their lives will follow, at the Heroes Monument of the sea port of Volos and then the student March.

At 7.00pm another celebration event shall take place at the Spiritual Center of Volos (K.Kartali-Gazi), in which many traditional Associations will take place, and many traditional music, choruses and speeches shall be held.

The events shall be blessed by our Metropolitan Ignatios.
