The Metropolitan of Demetrias Ignatios and 25 volunteer members of the Imprisoned Support Association "The Crossified" visited two correctional institutions on 19/12/2016. Firtsly, in the Kassaveteia jail, which hospitalizes about 135 imprisoned of all ages, after a Christmas event prepared by imprisoned teenagers, the Metropolitan spoke and thanked everyone for their support, advised the imprisoned and blessed them.

In the Volos jail, hospitalizing 58 children from many countries, in which primary school and highschool functions, the children prepared a very interesting and warm christmas event. After the event, the Metropolitan delivered presents to them, gathered from the parishes of the Diocese.
