Monday, 16 May, 2016The closing ceremony of the Sunday Schools of the Holy Diocese of Demetrias was successfully held (15/5) in the Open Municipal Theatre of Nea Ionia, for this missionary year. A New Presbyter in the Diocese of Demetrias

Friday, 13 May, 2016The Holy and miraculus icon of Panaghia Gorgoypikoos, from Smirni of Asia, kept in the Metropolis of Nea Ionia and Filadelfia, shall visit our Metropolis on Monday 16/5, at 6.30pm. Monday, 9 May, 2016The Prison Ministry Association of Volos 'ESTAVROMENOS', cares for the detainees kept for a short or a longer period of time at the various detention centers of the Police Stations, the Courthouse, the Central Port Authority of Volos e.t.c. The Holy Light arrives to the Holy Diocese of Demetrias
Friday, 29 April, 2016The Holy Light is expected to arrive from the Holy Lands to our Diocese on the Holy Saturday evening. It is supposed to travel by air from Jerusalem to Athens and then by car to Volos, in the Saint Nektarios chapel, where it will be given to representatives of the most local churches, in order to be on time for the midnight resurrection ceremony & Liturgy. -
